Whittier Rams Football

The Frederick Youth Football League (FYFL) has accepted our community proposal and invited us to join their football league as provisional members for the 2006 season. Our Whittier community can now take pride that for the first time we have a football team to represent our neighborhood in this prestigious city league.

If your child (8, 9, 10 year olds) would like to be a member of our Whittier Rams, please contact Bill Davis at 301.631.1409.

Whittier Rams Coaching Philosophy:

To teach the fundamentals of the sport of football with an emphasis on sportsmanship and representing the Whittier Community in order to make our children better human beings.

Team information:

Elligibility: Must live in the Whittier Community and be 8, 9, or 10 yearls old by Aug 1, 2006

Practices: Whittier Park (next to tennis courts).  Days and times TBA, beginning in August.

Games: All games will be played on Thursday nights at McCurdy Field, beginning in September.

Registration Fee: $125 (pays for insurance, new uniforms, league registration fee, etc.)

Deadline: Only the first seventeen players to register and pay their registration fee will be accepted.  First come, first served.  DO NOT DELAY!
