THE 2008 SWIMMING POOL SEASON IS HERE!

The Whittier Community Association is offering outside memberships to interested swimmers because of available capacity at the community swimming pool facilities. Membership will entitle a family of up to six (6) members or an individual to full swimming privileges at any of the three (3) Whittier community pools. Costs for each type of membership is listed below:

FAMILY - $306.00 [includes $ 6 process fee]

SINGLE - $206.00 [includes $ 6 process fee]

If you are interested in becoming a member of a Whittier swimming facility, please complete the application and return by April 14, 2008. If you do not complete and return the application with your check, your slot may be made available to the next eligible applicant.

Be sure to read the instructions below and complete all information, including your address and telephone numbers. Your check in the appropriate and full amount made payable to “Whittier Community Association” must accompany your application.

Mail your application and payment to Whittier Community Association, c/o Vanguard Management, P.O. Box 39 Germantown, MD 20875-0039. Faxed submissions will not be accepted. There are a limited number of swimming pool memberships available; therefore, all applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The rules and regulations governing the use of the pool are here. You are encouraged to read the rules before submitting your application as you must sign the application agreeing to abide by all rules.

2008 Outside Pool Pass Application Instructions

Applicant Information:

  • Enter your house number, street and city/state/zip address.
  • Enter your name.
  • Enter both your home and work phone numbers.
  • Signature Block: Applicant will need to sign the application agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations posted at the pool and certifying that the information provided on the application is accurate.

Residents at This Address:

  • Enter the first and last names of everyone permanently residing at this address.
  • Check the appropriate age box for each person according to his or her age on May 28, 2007. Adults - (16 and over) no restrictions; Age 10-15 - must pass a swim test in order to enter the pool without an adult; Under 10 yrs - may not enter the pool without an adult.

Fees:

  • FAMILY $306.00 - SINGLE $206.00
  • If you lose or damage your pass, there will be a $5.00 charge to replace each pool pass. Guest passes cannot be replaced.
  • Ten Punch Pass - Good for ten guest visits. For each guest that visits with an authorized member, one block will be punched out by the Guards. These passes may be purchased at the time of pool pass application for $15.00. They will also be available for purchase throughout the season at Vanguard Management. The cost must be paid for by check.

LAMINATING POOL PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE COBBLESTONE POOL ONLY FOR A COST OF $1.00 PER PASS.

PLEASE MAKE YOUR CHECK PAYABLE TO “WHITTIER COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION” FOR PAYMENT OF ANY POOL RELATED SERVICES. CASH WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE, NOR ACCEPTED AT EITHER POOL.
